So after a while building and re-writing army lists I think I have settled on my Allcomers list. Depending on army I could change the lords configeration but hopefully he would do well in most circumstances.

Hopefully I've covered all the bases, so what you think?

Lord:

Heroes:
Paladin(BSB)+horse+v of duty+sword of might=124
Damsel(lvl1)+horse+chalice=100
Damsel(lvl1)+2 scrolls=120

20 men@arms+m+sb=115

Total=1999

Hopefully it will be hard hitting enough. Something of everything to counter most armies. The 6 man K of R unit is purely a support unit and I'll have to play test it to see if it's worth it. Also the braziers on the bowmen is because we have woody and tombking players at my store.

To be honest it looks pretty solid already.

Maybe look at mounting the second Damsel so you can take advantage of her MagRes for a Knight unit. Its not like her having LoS for spell casting will help you much.

Have you thought of upping the KotR lance with the bsb, to 10 knights and adding a damsel in the middle so that you get a 12 man lance? (I never leave home wiithout that combo, it's 7 in static combat res wich is quite good in my humble opinion.)

Secondly have you considered banner of defence on the grail knights? Nothing can put an dent in your plans for your grail knights like a cannonball....
