Yes, they're serious. :) A reasonable buy, if you want to dish out the cash.

Not a "boxed" set per se, but I catch your meaning (example, I ordered an Aspect Warrior Assault Wave and got all of the components in their individual boxes and blisters - didn't come with a special box, unfortunately).

If you're a hardcore collector or very rich it's not a bad deal - saves you about $300-$400 overall, but I wouldn't shell out that kind of money for it. As cool as it would be to field the entire 1st company as an Apoc army, it seems very excessive.

Well, if you think about it, offering a army deal like that really doesn't cost them any money unless someone buys it and even with the deal you get, that's like what, 103 terminators and 5 tanks they just sold if someone buys it. That's far more than anyone would normally buy, so they make plenty of money and if no one buys it, what did they lose, the 2 minutes it took for the guy to put it on the site? I think that makes a pretty elite strike force :rofl

That's more a forgeworld price than GW. Mh, makes me realize how much this hobby costs overall... i spend a small fortune over the few years i've been doing this.

If G.W did a space marine list with the ability to use terminator armour
as a HQ, elite & troop & heavy support choices then great I would consider it.
But then again for that money I can have 27 carnifex’s.

I think a fair number of them would be deep striking. 50 deep striking terminators could be a big problem. Though there is an abundance of blast templates in apocalypse....I am going to have think it over.

You're not saving that much. You're basically getting the vehicles and chaplan for free. I bought a book from GW last week, and they're like, "whoa, you're not in our system?"
I responded, "yeah, I've never bought anything at a GW before. I usually get it from a non-gw dealer or ebay. It's cheaper."

I would love to know how many of these they've sold.

I keep thinking about this box set ! I dont even play marines , let alone Deathwing. Evidently the GW brainwashing and deep hypnotic conditioning has worked on me.
