This will be a Gamma level take and hold mission using the infiltrate, deepstrike, and victory point special rules. Arky will have the northern board edge and the first turn while AFG will have the southern board edge and second turn.

a difficult battle this will be, a steady hand will be required...

the primary target in this game will be the elimination of the IG tanks. with their powerful weapons and high armour they could wreak the bikes something awful. to do this the predator annihilator and attack bikes will be on tank hunting duty using their high powered (and in the case of the bikes) highly mobile firepower to eliminate them.

The OMGWTF? conscript horde will also be of primary importance and will have to be eliminated quickly. Thankfully the bikes sport a good number of highly accurate bolt guns, which make for good splatting at range.

The rough riders would have to be charged first in order to negate their power lances should combat be forced however i suspect the bikes with their twin linked bolt guns should be able to damage them significantly at range.

The predator destructors will be the kings of this game however thanks to their lethal torrent of S5+ anti infantry fire.

Near the end of the game the bikes will have a huge advantage thanks to their mobility and can quickly move to secure objectives and block the enemy trying to contest them.

a good thing to note is that the bike squadrons in this list have the rather joyous expert rider skill meaning terrain is a significantly smaller obstacle for them in this battle meaning they can quickly engage guardsmen hiding behind cover (they also have frag grenades) or manoeuvre around the enemy for better firing positions.

the vindicare assassin is a worry, but with such a fast force at my disposal he shouldn't be too hard to pin down.

Archon!

Because he has a ridiculous amount of people, and Arky doesn't really have enough stuff to deal with it too well.
Also, Archon has a fair few Ordinance weapons, which is bad news for anything.

God, the IG list is written so badly!

for some reason the cutting and pasting of this list messed with the formatting. I have fixed the list to look more presentable.

Yes, I've had troubles with that too.
Oh well, all better now.

I'm going with ARCHONFARSEERGUY for a couple of reasons.

1. He has quite a bit of guns to take down the preds,
2. He has the guns to shoot down all of the bikes that the space marines have..
3. Numbers that could make him take priority checks :P

The 6 Million Dollar Man will be joining the Conscripts- giving them Ld 10.

Oooooh, I outnumber him 5 to 1. This will be fun.

My Rough Riders will be cheap Tank Hunters, as initially planned when making this list. They should get the charge by Turn 3 and will have the most fun they've ever had (unless Arky somehow protects them).

Even with the 3++, he'll be taking so many saves that it's a laughing matter. I. Lord Frederick will enjoy this battle with his Thunder Hammer. The 6 Million Dollar Man should have fun here too, unless specifically targetted in combat, but he's pretty survivable.

Iron Discipline ensures that mere casualties won't be a problem, so I should be able to organise Counter-charges and will win through ridiculous weight of numbers.

The Turn 2 charges will be a problem, but they won't all be able to engage then. My Shoot Phase will concentrate fire on the Squads that represent the most immediate threat. Here, it will be the Captain and the Bikes with Furious Assault. They will be subject to 12 Autocannon shots plus a ridiculous amount of Lasguns. The Attack Bikes shouldn't pose much of a problem, being Instant Deathed by my Demolishers. Robertson will be targetting those Thunder Hammer-wielding Sergeants, again, the immediate ones will be the target.

That was a very good idea with the Commissar, I'm gonna change my vote, I didn't read through your list because it was messy.

I'm going to go with Arky. Thanks to their ability to go through terrain, they'll be able to assault (mostly) without being shot at too much. The conscripts could be an issue, but it'll just take careful fire control to make sure things don't go too badly. All in all, I think once CC is initiated the IG are going to have a very tough time vs. the increased toughness of the bikers.

Archon!

I recommend this vote not be counted until some form of detail accompanies it.

I have a little question about the Conscripts since I'm not an IG player: Can you actually mob them up to 50 models, or is that supposed to be 5 squads of 10?

But I like Arky's strategy. It'll be tough, but I'd much rather go for a disadvantaged list with a sound strategy than side with a list thats designed to run under "codex power".

Nope, they mob up as one big unit. The IC Commisar can join any unit he sees fit, and subsequently gives them Ld10 making one formidable unit.

I tend to have the same problem. I haven't played Tyranids, Sisters, or Eldar but once at best a piece. (At least with their new codex incarnations) So regrettably my voting tends to be sporadic and I don't want anyone to think I'm only opting to vote for certain people, etc.

Kore is correct,
it's standard votewar ettiquette to give some sort of explanation to your vote, even if it's acknowledgement of a previous poster or what not.

ARKY for the win. Once those bikes get into HtH the IG are pretty hosed and lose their one advantage, firepower. The IG have 1, maybe 2, rounds of good shooting before the bikes hit their line. After that it is all down hill as the marines chew through unit after unit.

I think that Arky has this one pretty well in the bag. The dakka preds should be able to punch nice holes in the IG lines, the bikes can thin them out with TL bolter shots and then charge in to CC to mop up.
