Hello!
i'm a seasoned chaos player, and i decided to turn to bretonnia, to see if their higher numbers and better abilities can make the difference for an all-cavalry army.
So i wrote this list, and i'll try it against a shooting+flagellants and priests -heavy empire.
Any suggestions would be grreat, since i never used bretonnia!
;)

-----------
Bretonnian Lord: 219
general, knightly vow, warhorse, heartwood lance, shield, dragons claw, virtue of the joust
-goes with
8 knights of the realm: 216
f/c

Paladin BsB: 194
knightly vow, warhorse, banner of the lady, virtue of purity
-goes with
8 knights of the realm: 216
f/c

Paladin: 110
knightly vow, warhorse, lance, shield, virtue of duty
-goes with
8 knights of the realm: 241
f/c, warbanner

Paladin: 116
questing vow, warhorse, morningstar, shield, insigna of the quest
-goes with
8 questing knights: 301
f/c, valorous standard

9 grail knights: 402
f/c, banner of defense

damsel of the lady: 150
lvl2, chalice of mafleur, dispel scroll

1 trebuchet

4 x 10 bowmen

---------
total: 2495 points
dispel: 3(+1), 1scroll
cast: 4
---------

Just one question: would the twilight banner be useful? And how should it be used?
thanks again

Are your bowmen skirmishers?

No they're just behind the stakes, and completely expendable, just like the trebuchet.
I thought about them just to kill some enemy shoters, but nothing more.

In principle i could remove the magic level from the damsel and buy skirmishing bowmen, getting at 2500 points square; but i can't see the meaning of fielding skirmishing troops with 30' shooting range.
Could you give me some hints?

They have 360° LoS, and all models can shoot without having to deploy them in a line. Also note that only one of your peasant bowmen units can get the skirmish upgrade ;)

They make a very tactically helpful unit. Skirmishers, so they are pretty ''fast'', can move through cover, great for baiting and fleeing, good for being able to pick off lone Characters thet are otherwise hidden... Id say combine 2 of the 10 man units ino one large unit. Drop a few men for the points for the Skiem upgrade, Musician, Standard and Braziers if you want any of those.
