explain me the reason why peopleplay helstorm rocket batteries. This is a ridiculus war machine with 2 scatter dice rolls? You will never be sure you are going to hit the unit you want....

Hellblaster is a warmachine with 3 barrels giving 6-30 shots XX range, you pick your target and go, XX save... if i didnt play hellblasterI would not take a helstorm i would prefer tank.... You (converted from gibberish). It is too dependent on chance.

You pick the heavy unit of the opoment and you give him hell with XX armor save... it explodes... but 30 SHots ? even if destroyed..... think about it..... use it??? i play vs chaos usually and i see blocks of warriors and cavalry falling in front of me like paper... what use can have a blast against mass shost? XXsave?..... remainder of gibberish and expetives removed

Your a little hard to understand mate, try to lay off the netspeak a bit...

Hellbaster Cons:
- There is a ridiculously high probability that it will blow itself up by the end of the game or seriously disable itself with the amount of artillery dice you roll
- you still need to roll to hit, which often reduces you down to a few hits, making it not much better than handgunners

Hellstorm Pros:
- Really big template means that even if you miss a bit you still have a chance of hitting something. Especially good against horde armies
- The randomness of the the double scatter can be mitigated with intellengent guess ranging. someone did a mathammer article on the empire artillery (could someone else find?) that explained how to guess well to maximise the hellstorms potential

Hi and welcome to LO, please note the following are against board rules:

1. The use of text speak.
2. Profanity or expletives.
3. Stating specific stats.

Also you are required to use correct English with punctuation (generally 1 punctuation mark as opposed to none or five).
I have edited the above to make it semi understandable, but please use more care in future.

regards, the management
