hello all, ive just noticed in the back of the warhammer rule book (7th ed) in the army lists area that it says snotlings leadership is 10 but in my army book its a 4.. im going by their leadership in my army book but it would have been nice to have a 10 LD (Mwhahaha)

The rule book gives a few examples of statlines so that you could play around with a few models if you wanted, before you bought the army book, and the stats are taken from the then current army books. In the 6th ed O&G Army Book, snotlings were great on the leadership front, but in the new 7th ed book they're not quite so good.

The Army book always takes precedence over stats presented in the main rulebook. It seems that half the stats in the main rulebook are wrong anyway.
