This my latest incarnation of my list. I have never used the war altar before as I considered it cheesyish! However for this competitive army I thought I'd give it a run-out at last!

What do you think of the list? Constructive critisisim welcome:)


LORD:
Arch Lec+gw+A of MI+VHS+war altar=286

HEROES:
Capt(BSB)+fp+barb horse+sword of might+white cloak=147 (could swap out the white cloak for anything!)
Wizard(lvl2)+2 scrolls=150
Wizard(lvl2)+rod of power=130

CORE:
25 swordsmen+fc=175 +[9 halberds=45]
18 flaggies=180
6 knights+m=146
10 crossbows=80


SPECIAL:

19 greatswords+fc=220 +[9 halberds=45]

RARE:
Helblaster
4 ironguts+sb+war banner=237

HEROES:
Capt(BSB)+fp+barb horse+sword of might+white cloak=147 I've never used the white cloak, but a pegasus captain with doomfire ring is my favorite I think. The other setup I've seen (though it's been a while) is Aldred's casket of sorcery

4 ironguts+sb+war banner=237hmmm, don't really fit, but I see their usefulness

little bit different than the norm, in that you don't have a lot of small arms shooting ie. handgunners and the like. Another common sight is 6 man archer units as a second detachment to screen for other units as needed.
