Kroot players,

I just wanted to get some thoughts on a merging of the Kroot Mercenaries forum with the Tau forum, making the Kroot Mercs. forum a subforum of the Tau Empire forum. At first this change obviously doesn't seem like a good thing for Kroot players, but hear me out.

The traffic in the Kroot forum leaves much to be desired. Kroot Mercenaries do not have an official codex; even on the GW site are they listed under the Tau sections. These three together makes them comparable to Harlequins (whose subforum was completely removed) and with Armoured Company (who isn't separated from IG at all). So, I don't see that moving this forum (reducing the number of forums on LO while still keeping everything organized) will be that huge a move.

There will be a little while before the mod team makes the choice on this, and we'd like to hear some feedback about it from you all who come to this forum. Is it something that you're all against, or does it really matter? We'll wait about a week to see if we get any replies.

This way it also allows for the Tau players who use Kroot Heavy lists to post and get different stratergy/conversion/army list construction ideas.

Also lets us join in with a bigger group other than being stuck in the corner all on our own trying to get attention :D

I agree completely, it can only be a good thing to merge the 2.

i think it's a really good idea because right now not many people even see this section and i think to merge the two would put a new spark in the kroot section!;Y

Go for it, when I look through other army sections I never look through the kroot section, but if it's part of the tau forum I might actually spot a thread or two to look at.
