Basically, bring up a model, and say which version you think is better and why... I was personally wondering whether people prefer the old or the new Hive Tyrant. (I like the new one better- the old one looked like a dude in a suit).

I think everyonw will agree with ==Me== that the current models are in every way better than the old models :w

Last edition raptors are pretty cool, and I think that the side sponsons on the old predators looked much coller then the current ones. Though over all, yes the new models are alot better, a few are quite the opposite.

The newer stuff is by far, better. The new Tyrant and cadians have a much better look than their old counterparts.

A definate one: the Vindicator. I love the old model (hence why I own it), but I hate the new one...

The old Vindicator was better. And maybe even the Whirlywind. This one is just so ugly.

Its hard to find old models that are better than the new. I think the old Space Wolf Long Fangs (devastators) were better than the new. Their pose wasn't all that dynamic, but the details and Wolf specific accessories were much better. I'm getting tired of the same old marine body over and over

The old Space Wolf scout sergeants were better than the new. Again because they were cast with a lot of Wolf specific detailing. You can still get a lot of the older metal marines with chapter specific accessories. Blood Angels with the blood tear drop on their helmets and chains, etc

It would be nice if GW sold the equivalent of the Space Wolf and Chaos accessory sprue for each chapter. grant me a wish :w

Oh yea, the old Vindie and Whirly were probably the only good thing to come from the old rhino chassis ;)

I kinda liked the old hive tyrant for some reason.

All the new chaos models are better than the old ones. New marine sprews are SO nice. :)

The old SM land speeder is better than the new one. The old one looked like it was capable of a higher speed than the new one. More of a speeder......

The Old Vindicator, mayby, the Old Whirlwind, definetly not! The Missiles on it are just strange, its out of proportion. I like the new one, the Rhino Chassis finaly does it justice.

I like both of the old sets of storm troopers a bit more than the kirsin. Not that i don't like the kirsin but something just doesn't seem to click.......

The old Striking Scorpions are better than the new. The new scorpions are in overly dramatic poses witch makes them look silly and hardly ever capable of standing up.
I also like the old Plague marines over the new ones. They just seem to look more threatening.
The old Farseer looks better than the new one, except I like the new/new farseer that was released as part of the seer council.
Other than the few exceptions the new miniatures are a big improvement.
