The 400-or-so point Seer force is tough as nails and has great maneuverability which means that they are great at being bait. If the enemy needs to be drawn somewhere, this unit is the one to do it. If they are ignored, they are good at both shooting and assaulting and will devastate the enemy army. The Dire Avengers are standard in the serpent. If the opponent has a particularly irritating unit that I need clog up I can throw my defend avengers at them (means I won’t be disembarking right in front) and they’ll buy me a good few turns. The bladestorm Avengers are a no-brainer, get off and bladestorm. The Dragons in the Falcon are standard anti-tank, and the Falcon itself is well-known for being indestructible/cheesy, so no problems on that front. Warp Spiders simply zip around the field and the fact that their shots’ strength lies in strength and number means they are effective even against marines. The Autarch provides additional support in close combat with the Exarch before the unit Withdraws. Swooping Hawks simply act as additional anti-tank and are great scoring units. The unorthodox high mobility of the infantry Eldar army means that they can move quickly, splitting the enemy up and then picking the enemy apart and that is the general strategy in terms of overall tactics.

My army will stay together as a massive block. It will power forwards to take on all comers applying as much pressure on a small surface of the enemy’s army. The lash prince will pull targets out for plasma destruction or to be charged. Raptors will hug cover and tank hunt/ MC hunt. Preds will hang back and hunt vehicles/MCs. Termies will deepstrike onto Heavy infantry or MCs to kill with plasma.

I'm going to have to say list sixteen. I really don't like how the Eldar list is built TBH. I won't say why here. But anyways the Chaos have armour that the Eldar don't really have the weapons to destroy from the front. Fire Dragons, Autarch and Swooping Hawks( combat) are really the only things that can kill the preds, and 2/3 units are easily killable, the autarch may pose a problem to the chaos though. Plus with all the plasma guns out there, the Eldar in this one might not survive that well. Raptors, meh, might get shot 8Y

List 16 seems better organised. The Eldar don't have the necessary AP. Chaos should have little trouble winning this.

Chaos. Too much strength for the Eldar to handle i think, either at range of in CC.

Chaos.

As others have mentioned, the Eldar list does appear to be in a bit of disarray, with things sorta of jumbled together. The Seer and the Warlocks can be a good idea, but the Warlocks need to be kitted out better, and Singing Spears would have helped a lot with tank popping.

Regardless of all that, the Chaos list is just harder in shooting and CC. Also, with the lack of Eldar anti-armor, their preds should be able to dominate the battlefield.

I like the solidity of the Chaos list. I feel the eldar are a bit too scattered, and not focused. There are a lot of nice units there, but nothing that feels like a true, cohesive force.

ChAOs wins

Eldar die in droves. List Sixteen Has the guns and the tanks, and is perfect for this mission.

Chaos

The Eldar will have difficulty going through the Marine firepower.

Chaos have superior firepower and the eldar list has no real way to counter it.

Chaos will walk this.
