The Autarch will be running around with the Shining Spears. They are excellent for hunting any time of armor, especially medium to high AV vehicles. Also they are good to charge into MEQ HQs and eat them alive on the charge. The Farseer will either be traveling around solo (due to IC status) or with one of the bike units. He will be Dooming a unit per turn, and either character hunting or turning tanks to expose rear armor with Mind War, or be Tank Hunting with his Singing Spear. The Dire Avengers are there mainly for anti-horde. They sport a respectable 14 18" shurken catapults and with bladestorm they can up that to 20 if they forgo shooting the next turn. The 6 man Jetbike unit has a nice firebase with 2 shuriken cannons. They can go tank hunting with that and the Warlock's singing spear, or even charge into CC if needed due to having Enhance.
The 3 man Jetbike units are there for firesupport or tank hunting with the shuriken cannon and the Warlock's singing spear. The Vypers are excellent mobile firebases. They all put out a large number of shots and have a mixture of anti-horde and anti-MEQ weapons (scatter lasers, starcannons, shuriken cannons). The are also excellent at taking out light to medium armored vehicles. The Falcon is my jack-of-all-trades tank. It can take out almost any kind of vehicle with their mixture of weapons and is almost impossible to kill. It can also act as a transport for the Dire Avengers if needed.

The lash prince will pull targets out for plasma destruction or to be charged. Raptors will hug cover and tank hunt/ MC hunt. Preds will hang back and hunt vehicles/MCs. Termies will deepstrike onto Heavy infantry or MCs to kill with plasma.

Wow.. I really would like to see this battle happen. It could honeslty go eitherway, but I'm going to have to vote for the Eldar in this one. I personally think that the Eldar can kil more guys then the chaos and make it to the oponents side before the chaos can, they all have jet bikes, and those can move fast and make them tougher then ever, and the list has that nasty Autarch/Singing Spear Combo. The Chaos however, has Rhinos for transport that can easily be popped by the Eldar.

This would be a fun battle to watch. The Eldar obviously has the superior speed, but chaos isn't far behind. At first looking at the list I would say eldar was going to win, but then when I came down to the predators of the chaos list, I would say chaos will win. Because of the small squads, the predators will be tearing up the bikes and anything else on the field.

But after looking at the lists a second time. I had to change my mind. The eldar has more than enough anti-tank to get rid of the predators. This will be a very close battle, but in the end I think eldar will win mainly because of the extra recon points.

I agree with wanting to see this game played out. This would be an interesting dance and dodge game.

I feel that given this is a Recon game, Eldar should take it. If it were most any other scenario, I think I would have to go for Chaos. Eldar can dance around and pop out to spray chaos. then dart across the board in the last turn to get the recon points.

The Lash will be a problem, but not one the Shining spears couldn't take care of. Rhinos should be fairly easily taken out of comission, and eventually the Preds popped. a few Eldar units will die to concentrated fire. :0

The Eldar are simply too quick for this one. The Preds will count for little against the 3+ saving Bikies.

They'll dance around, picking off threats at will, being virtually unmolested (they're too quick to be effectively shot at). When they do charge, it will be with several units at once and Chaos will get elminated systematically.

Eldar are in control of this one.

Eldar are simply too fast and have enough anti tank to take this one. The chaos list has nothing that can effectively counter the eldar speed, and will pay for it.

Eldar to win
