Hey, just asking will 40k and Fantasy be getting separate forums for Daemons or will we have to post in the chaos sections?

I gonna take a guess that we are gonna get seperate forums. 40K players might get confused if people tell them their squads need musicians.

I know less than nothing about how chaos works in 40k, but for FB it would seem sensible to give them a separate forum (hordes and beasts have separate forums after all).

Whatever happens, it'll probably be after the book comes out, since anything before then is technically a rumour :ninja3:

Yeah, Chaos Damons in 40k can't ally with CHaos Marines so techniqually they need there own forum.

They're a new army. Why wouldn't they get their own subforums, including army list subforums? If they were a supplement codex, at most they would get a subforum within the parent army's forum, but this isn't the case.

Don't expect the forums to come up until after the books are released, though.

And Pickle - being able to ally with another army has nothing to do with needing their own forum or not. By that logic, Witch Hunters and Daemonhunters don't deserve their own forums, since they can ally with IG and/or Space Marines. ;)

Basically, this is the rule - if they are their own parent codex/army book, they will get a new forum. Supplement/child codices/army books are armies such as Kroot Mercenaries, Armoured Company, Blood Angels, etc.
