I'm Painting a Shining spear themed craftworld army and my normal jetbikes are Regal Blue...I was just wondering what would be a good highlighting color so that the jetbikes and tanks do not look so dull. Any suggestions would be great!:)

You could just add a little white to the regal blue. You could also add some enchanted blue or ultramarine blue to the regal blue to make it lighter and in the case of ultramarine blue you could perhaps use it without adding it to the regal blue.

I would suggest that you pick a colour that is clearly brighter than regal blue but not very bright, Ultramarine blue would be good. You could then paint this along all of the edges of the vehicles. After this use a colour like ice blue, only use a very small amount of this as you paint. Only paint the ice blue at areas such as the tips of jetbikes, at the edges of armour plates on tanks and so on. Using a lighter colour in smaller quantities like this will help to make them look more three-dimensional and they won't just be plates of regal blue armour with lighter blue paint at the edges.

I highlighted the razorback below using strait ultramarines blue. In my experience doing my marines list, Ultra blue is a great natural higlight for Regal BLue, but you really have to mix up a lighter tone of ultra blue for an extra layer of highlighting as ice blue is on a slightly different color palette.

I've been painting alaitoc eldar, where the armor has been built up using:
Regal Blue
Ultramarines Blue
Enchanted Blue
Here's a link (http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/projects/118608-tale-painters-alaitoc-eldar.html) to the post, but here's an example of the final product and a pic without the enchanted blue:

I hope that helps :)

Thanks a ton guys! I had put my eldar on hold cause I wasn't sure how to continue the paint scheme. Soon I will be ready to pick up my brush and keep up the tedious but fun work:D thanks again!

i use regal blue a lot with my eldar, as one of the my base colors and as the main color of the DA (since i undercoat black) i have done it a lot.
I find the best highlight for regal blue is watered down enchanted blue. It spreads the pigment out more since it is diluted and it is the perfect highlight. its noticeable without being too much so. You just might want to some test sprues so that you know what consistency you need. i highlight that with a mix of ice blue and enchanted blue.
i got this technique form the DA guide on the GW site:
Warhammer 40,000 - Eldar (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/eldar/painting/aspect/avengers.htm)
hope that helps.
