Nice work, and I really like the bases! So many snow bases just look awful, those are very nice.

I used the grit from the urban basing kit and then applied snow afterwards. I have gone for an urban combat/winter theme.

I have taken that long painting my army that my earlier peices look crap compared to my latest work! That's why I am in the process of re-painting a few.

They are very nicely painted and give the effect of a city fighting theme in the middle of the winter... Just one question though... in the first two pics the sergeant is the same? He looks the same... :?

Yep both pics are the same. Technically scripts don't get a sarge but what the hell just count him as having a las gun, couldn't imagine a load of yocals would be sent off without some leadership.

I based the theme on the Winter Assault box, the one with the pissed off looking grunt. Basically it's dark grey armour, codex grey fatigues, some have combat camo.

Haha... nice! My eye concentrated on the sergeant and his pose! Very battle inspiring! :happy:
