Mars Class “Victoria” 270pts

The Mars is a cool choice in a fleet, I know I took one when I started up BFG before taking up a chaos fleet, but its roughly 150% the cost of any of your current ships. (A bit lower in the case of the Dominator.) It's even more expensive if you put the fleet admiral in it as well, becoming over a third of your total points.

I want to suggest taking an Overlord instead, but then your sacrificing one of your two nova cannons and only launch bays for stronger weapons batteries and a few less points on that battlecruiser. However, if you did take the Overlord, and went with the suggestion about the Dominator below, then you would have enough points left over to purchase a second re-roll for your fleet admiral.


Dominator Class Cruiser “Ares” 190pt

Personally, I'd suggest swapping the Dominator out for a Tyrant instead, specifically the Zealous, with the 20pt upgrade that gives it a nova cannon in place of torpedoes. It'd be 15pts more than your Ares, and does not have as much firepower on its sides but Tyrants do have longer ranged weapons and are able to go after more targets because their batteries are split.

Can't really go wrong with Lunar's; a little of everything for a decent amount of points.

As an alternative fleet setup, there is always the idea of the above Tyrant I suggested, two Dictators, and a Gothic along with your fleet commander. That would be 900pts as well, but sacrifices long range lances and a nova cannon for more launch bays and short range lances. However, thats an entirely different fleet, and to suggest it would destroy the fleet you posted up.
