hiya everyone,

After searching different club locators online, and being told the nearest club is 33 miles from me (i know this is wrong). i have decided that i am going to be making my own map of the clubs using google maps.

So i would appreciate it if people could help me out and give me the information for their local clubs so i can add it to the map.

i need the following information;

Location:
Time/day:
Entrance fee:

Contact email:
Contact phone no:
Website:

Games played:
Other notes:

if i can also get a postcode of the Venue, then it'll make it easier for me to add it.

thankyou for your time

PS: the current (Temporary) web address is at clublocator.tk (http://clublocator.tk)

Thankyou for your reply, ill add it to the list soon.

just a few quick notes:

1) do you have a hall address so that i can get the map more accurate.
2) For games played, i meant 40k, fantasy etc.

Store -
Location:
Luton indoor market: Located in the Mall Arndale.
Fantasy Wargames.
Very easy to find there are multiple maps within the Market
The Market opens at 9oclock and closes at 5 oclock.

We also run a gaming club on Thursdays open to everyone.

Club -
Location:
Luton Social Working mens club
Above Partners
Located in the Mall Arndale
£2 entry. There is a raffle every evening.
6 oclock till 10.
There is a BAR!!! BEERRRR!! biggrin.gif

predominatly for table top games, currently we have alot of WH40k players attending and tables are used for there large 3 v 3player mauls! come down with anything, there is always someone willing to play people and make you feel at home.

Along with this there is also two Blood Bowl leagues being run! come and score Touchdowns and Cause Casualites with us and chat absolute crappy trash talk about a game none of us will ever be fit to play.

Fantasy Wargames sells alot of card games such as: Legend of the 5 rings, Yu-gi-oh, Magic: the gathering, Vs System etc. and these are played nearly all the time, so if you've got a deck you've been itching to play with come on down and challenge one of the guys or girls.

from the above you can see that the shop is very diverse in what we actually play:

Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Confrontation, Urban War.

Legend of the 5 rings, Yu-gi-oh, Magic: the gathering, Vs System, Street fighter and Soul Calibur and many many more:w00t:

also we play alot of board games, we currently have a long running series of Decent running
Decent is alot like D&D but not at the same time you have to play to understand

The store is always holding tournaments and have held the Yu-gi-oh championships, pre releases for more card games i can remember, and sanctioned tournaments.

well if you would like some more information don't hesitate to call Final Fantasy War Games on:

Thanks alot for your time

ive added both clubs from this post. its nice to see that it isnt just a Uk one, as i feel that we need to do this internationally to help all wargamers - i only posted it in the uk one becuase i couldnt post it everywhere (mods might consider it spamming) and i didnt think it would be right in general chat.

You can always take a look at gcnm.org.uk too. That's the site of the Gaming Club Network.

While not definitive, it's a useful starting point.

on a side note would it be worth putting up not only the time the clubs are open but the days they are open also?

@Rork - gcn is outdated and is the place that told me my closest was 33 miles away (when i have found one 4 miles away) so i would rather not use that, even for a basis - it may be that half of their clubs no longer run.

@Pestigor - yes it would, i would prefer people to put days as well.

I appreciate that. All I'm saying is that the gcn is also worth checking.

(It's not likely to be out of date. A club has to be specifically join the GCN, at which point its committee has to CRB checked. So clubs don't have to join and the GCN will only list clubs that have applied to join.)

I guess push comes to shove you could always use phone/email clubs on the CGN and ask them personally, that way you know everything is up to date 100%
