I've uploaded pictures in the past but for the last three weeks I have not been able to upload any pictures. What am I not doing? I have noticed that the section that ask you what area you want to put your picture drop down box will not let me pick anything. The drop down box opens but theres nothing taht I can see. Like theres not enough room in the box to give me somthing to choose from so I just skip it and when I hit upload it comes back saying that upload was succesful.

Tommy, I'll go have a look at your permissions, but it may take Blackhat to fix it.

I had a simliar problem not long ago, and he was able to fix it.

Where are you trying to post the pic?

Do you mean the showcase?

Or a hosted pic in a normal thread?

Or do you mean uploading an attachment to a post in a normal thread?

I now can see members galleries under the section (what area do you want to put your picture in) when before I could not see anything but still no luck. I tried uploading from my external hard drive and from my desk top of my computer and I can not get it to upload. Its a JPEG Image. I will keep trying.

Blackhat, for what it's worth I tried uploading pics under my account (with mod permissions) and my test account (with no mod permissions) and had no problems with either.

Evil Tommy, have you tried logging out and back in? Try that and clear your cookies while you're logged out and see what happens.

Tried logging out and clearing my cookies but still no luck. Did I reach my limit? Am I not doing something right? I'm doing the same thing I did with all my other pictures. What does Virtual memory mean sometimes that pops up when I'm on the Internet.

I'd suggest trying to upload them from another computer.

My old PC would give me virtual memory errors sometimes. You can read one explanation here.

From what I can see, there's no limit to how much you can upload, but you could try removing a couple of old ones you don't care as much about and see what happens.
