Why can't we, the members of LO, be able to just login to LO Chat using our current login information? Why do we have to create a new profile for LO chat?

Why do we have to create a new profile for LO chat? Because they are two separate entities, essentially. The LO login/server/what have you is different for Chat, and as far as I know there's no (easy) way to connect the two.
