I think that there should be an option to mask gender on LO.

On my profile I can only change it to male or female.

I don't think it's a good idea to force people to reveal it either way.

Additionally, I'm not even human, so I find it a bit ackward personally.

Is there any way there can be a 'not disclosed' function?

Thanks,

Karmoon

Hmm.. yea good idea.

For all those original pokemon who don't have a gender it may be useful :P

(jk, still think its a good idea)

Trust Karmoon to not want to disclose his gender:P.

In all seriousness, I think it would be a good idea to be an "optional reveal", like birthdays etc.

You're looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. I'm gonna let you in on the inside scoop people, so listen up...

You don't have to enter your correct personal details on the site :O:O

Receiving unwanted attention cos your profile says you're a particular gender? Change your gender. Problem solved.

Actually a good idea.

considering that 'not disclosed' is just another way of saying, 'I'm a girl, all you social reprobates come and leave embarrasing comments on my profile.'

Exactly, setting your gender to male would draw far less attention than setting it to 'undisclosed' :)

Maybe we can have "hidden" random information about people that you have to go on quests to receive that information.

Or else it says that you're a complete and utter fruitcake that will do anything for the possibility of a cheap laugh at your own expense (at least it's better than emo jokes).

I think it's just the imbalance people get as they mix reality with the online world...

Anyway... I wonder if it works in reverse... (alters profile)...
