View Full Version : Other Gender Display Karmoon June 26th, 2008, 12:34 I think that there should be an option to mask gender on LO.
On my profile I can only change it to male or female.
I don't think it's a good idea to force people to reveal it either way.
Additionally, I'm not even human, so I find it a bit ackward personally.
Is there any way there can be a 'not disclosed' function?
Thanks,
Karmoon Phoenix June 26th, 2008, 13:02 Hmm.. yea good idea.
For all those original pokemon who don't have a gender it may be useful :P
(jk, still think its a good idea) ArchonFarseerGuy June 26th, 2008, 13:20 Trust Karmoon to not want to disclose his gender:P.
In all seriousness, I think it would be a good idea to be an "optional reveal", like birthdays etc.

Actually a good idea.
considering that 'not disclosed' is just another way of saying, 'I'm a girl, all you social reprobates come and leave embarrasing comments on my profile.' Stonehambey June 26th, 2008, 16:25 Actually a good idea.

Exactly, setting your gender to male would draw far less attention than setting it to 'undisclosed' :) Tekore June 27th, 2008, 00:51 What if I am wearing a hat?
Tekore gauss_storm June 27th, 2008, 05:13 Maybe we can have "hidden" random information about people that you have to go on quests to receive that information. ArchonFarseerGuy June 27th, 2008, 08:05 Actually a good idea.

Or else it says that you're a complete and utter fruitcake that will do anything for the possibility of a cheap laugh at your own expense (at least it's better than emo jokes).

Yeah.... pretty much.
Oh the chemistry of girls on forums.... Karmoon June 27th, 2008, 10:00 I think it's just the imbalance people get as they mix reality with the online world...
Anyway... I wonder if it works in reverse... (alters profile)... | |
