EDIT: geez guys, fast replies. I go into my CP for 5 minutes and wham! 2 new posts... O.o Ifurita July 11th, 2008, 03:27 I think you need to work on your highlighting lines, some of them are pretty thick, but overall a solid job. Sister Bluebird July 11th, 2008, 03:27 This guy looks excellent...rep 4 u SGluciousa July 11th, 2008, 03:57 it looks very well done. I think that you could work on the metal highlighting a little bit more, but besides that it is a good model. Great Job. arishnakoger July 11th, 2008, 07:40 If there's one thing that really irks me, it's what seems to be that giant black thing under the cords on his chest. On light blue/grey armor especially, something that dark is really out of place. I know it's touch getting in there without messing up the detail around it, but a bit more color on the eagle would definitely help the model out.
Overall though, it's a nice, clean model. I really like it. Helbrecht July 11th, 2008, 08:19 very neat and super clean paint job. kithre July 11th, 2008, 10:22 I'd recommend that for a pale-blue/greay armour that the plates are outlined in something like shadow grey - that would entail undercoating black, and then blocking out the whole plates in shadow grey.
The plates wouldn't be as pronounced, and the whole effec would be more subtle - it may actually help your painting, as blues are not great for covering black, but greys are, and the look will be cleaner... xbanditsx July 11th, 2008, 15:32 I think he looks really clean and sharp. The highlighting may be a bit thick from this close up, but I imagine that it looks really nice from a few feet away. Awesome work! Legion Of Light July 12th, 2008, 00:07 Nice scheme, cleanly painted. Not to bad. Reputation for you.
I really do like the Grey/blue colour too, nice work on that! starhawks July 12th, 2008, 00:17 thanks for the feedback | |
