OK guys, I've been working on my soulgrinder now for about 2 weeks, and it's starting to take shape.

Here's a w.i.p. pic for you guys.

Let me know what you think, critisism is welcome ...............but not too much, I hope.....:)

Cheers guys.

EDIT: nemesis1978, in future could you please:
a) Take the time to correctly spell, punctuate and capitalise your posts, and
b) Read the forum rules (*here* (http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/faq.php?faq=faq_rules#faq_rules_3)), so that a mod doesn't have to spend time editing some sense into your posts.
Thanks, -t.

Nice! Only thing that looks wierd is the two colors of red... it looks like you just never finished fleshing out half of it with highlights..

It's coming along pretty nicely, I must say though I quite like the two reds- it looks like it's been flayed or burned or something along those lines- or maybe that's just me. (to clarify I look neither burned nor flayed- I'm lovely)

As towards the sword I'ld have put the lightest shade furthest from the hilt and worked down- basically the opposite of what you've done- partly as that is how I do swords and partly as it would look like the sword is made of some crumbling crystal.

Have you finished the black yet? -It's a bit hart to tell from the pictures. If you have it's good that you've not gone overboard but you might have gone a bit underboard (is that a word?) with the highlights and that.

The best piece of advice I can give is find somewhere either outside in the sun and use a darker setting on the camera and remove the flash altogether, OR inside a nice white background and take a photo against a table or something where the camera will remain stable and take the shot.

Better photos = better critisism.

From what I can see it looks good, there is a soulgrinder at my local GW that is just dry brushed metallic paints all over and a bit of gold and it looks so lame and cheap.

You've obviously gone to more work than they have and that impresses me alone.

nemesis1987, please do not respond to people's comments quite so aggressivley.
Also, please see my above comment re: spelling.

As far as the mini goes, it seems fine, but as duane says, better photos will let people give better criticism.
The painting seems fairly neat, although I think the choice of colours could be better (the blue sword clashes with the red skin, IMO).

Cheers for all the comments guys, I only have a mobile phone that takes pics, no digital camera so nothing I can do about the picture quality guys, but better lighting may help in future pics.....

Sorry about the "txt" spelling, mod but it was late last night when I posted it so forgive me.

Cheers guys.

EDIT: Fun times.
Please take the extra 30 seconds to use capitals, punctuation etc... that everyone else in the thread has.
People have taken the time to reply in a measured, helpful and consistant way. Please return the favour.
