On my desktop, i was trying to log in, but every time I did, I got the "thank you for looging in, Chaos877, If your browser... blah blah blah" page. After this, I look, and see that I am not logged in! I'm not sure what's going on, but I hope it can be fixed soon.

I had exactly the same problem a while back when I first bought my laptop (vista).

Even though it says you're not logged in, navigate to a thread/forum and you might find that you now appear logged in. That's what worked for me. The problem for me has since dissipated.

Right, I could have worded that better. I typed in my username and password, it said 'tanks for logging in...' but the little username and password boxes were still there instead of the welcome, chaos877, last visit etc. box and I couldn't post. But, the little circle next to the rep and flag buttons on the bottom of my post said I was in fact online.

I'm afraid I'm out of answers then. For me, after I had navigated to a thread, I was able to post and navigate the forums ok. It was only the initial forum home page which said I wasn't logged in.

Incidentally, how are you able to post in this thread?
