I recently purchased a Leman Russ and snipped off the Battle Cannon and replaced it with two Autocannons, making it into an Exterminator. To make it fit with my Space Wolves, it needed some pelts, but luckily I had plenty. I painted her up and here she is:

The grey on the tank looks very dark. Unless you painted the rest of your wolves a much darker grey then normal space wolves, I would lighten the color up a bit. Also the heavy bolter color just doesn't seem to mesh well with the rest of the tank.

The grey turned out really really dark in the pictures, it's actually a lot lighter (and basically the same color as my army - troops = fortress grey, vehicles = codex grey).

What color would you suggest the H.B. be??

I agree and maybe paint the covering codex grey like the rest of the tank. Instead of that light blue color you have.

Are you talking about the "X"? That rune is there because the Leman Russ Exterminator is an Imperial Guard tank, therefore its like a partnership between the two factions.

Nifty! My only gripes, as an IG Treadhead, would be the hole left in the Battle Cannon where you put the autocannons (But still, a good mod nonetheless) which really needs to be flilled in, and then, more personal preference here, a bit more of a camo-scheme.

I plan on filling the hole once I get some Greenstuff (it's hard to come by here :P)

As for the Camo, I can understand where you're coming from, but Space Marines - especially Space Wolves - have never been well known for their camo schemes (The only place Imperial Fists would be camouflaged in would be a banana factory).

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. It's a bit hard to explain without going into stupid detail, but the use of Gebo on the tank just doesn't fit. It's kind of like adding a slogan like "Hey ho, let's go!" to a Baneblade in place of the usual "Be saved - filthy as thou art!" - it's still a slogan, but it's very out of context. You'd be better off with the Dagaz, or Breakthrough - if you google it you'll find a picture.

Other than that, nice job! And I'm sure the majority of people wouldn't know or care about that one detail, anyway!
