The Balrog is a big nasty that really will attract a lot of attention as it is very hard to kill and it causes Terror so good luck trying to get close to it. It is the most expensive piece points wise in the game.

The Warg Riders are evil Cavalry. Great for flanking opponents and the Wards attack so you get an extra attack dice. A must when against a Rohan force that is more cavalry than foot troops.

The Uruk-Hai are some of the strongest that Evil can have and they carry a pike that allows them to rank up three deep to attack. The Captain has the much needed Might Points to allow you to alter dice rolls or call Hero Actions that allow you to go before your opponent if they have priority. (LotR has each person roll-off each turn to see who goes first that turn. It makes the game interesting.)

The Uruk-Hai Berserkers (torch-bearers) are good against regular troops as they are brutal but against heroes they can fall a little too easily. Their courage also means they stick around longer if you fall below 50%.

The problem I see is that the Balrog and your Isengard force don't fight together under the Legions of Middle Earth rules. So you would have one or the other, not both without permission from your opponent.

The fun thing with a Balrog is that at its points cost you can have an army of one model while your opponent has a small force. Then you just have to focus on the mission objectives and have fun.

actually you can easily have them in the same force using legion rules. You must have a hero from each army and the 2 armies must b able to legion. im not positvie but i beleive urukai and goblins can legion and if not u can have an orc captain in there as well as a goblin captain and that will work if u rlly need the balrog.
