Hi everybody,
here are my latest models: a Fire Dragons unit for my Saim-Hann army (link (http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/painting/113929-pics-1500-points-saim-hann-army.html)).

I don't like the official color scheme, since it is a little too bright for my taste, so I toned it down a little (I did the same for my Howling Banshees, link (http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/painting/115864-howling-banshees-over-ruin-bases.html#post1119748)).

This is the first time I paint yellow, and I need some practice since I started collecting a whole company of Imperial Fists... I think it turned out nice for the first time, but I will add a Yellow Ink wash next time in order to improve depth.

Moreover, I had some fun with rare earth magnet to swap weapons for the Exarch, here is the final result:

Hope you will like them, tips, feedback and constructive criticism are strongly appreciated!

I've always loved the way these models look - and you did a great job painting them. Did you make the bases, or can you order them like that?

All of the models look fantastic. I am especially fond of the deep shading and highlighting of the armour. I wouldn't change a thing. Only one question of mine: How did you get the yellow on the helmet to look so smooth? I usually have a huge problem with it.

I made them, using pieces of Pegasus Hobbies Gothic City Ruins (link (http://www.thewarstore.com/product24397.html)), pieces from plastic sheets of paved street (York Stone Paving, link (http://www.barrule.com/workshop/scratch%20builders%20paradise/sheet%20materials.html)), flock leaves (Ivy Leaves, link (http://www.barrule.com/workshop/scratch%20builders%20paradise/leaves,%20feuilles,%20blatter,%20fogli.html)), and sand.

How did you get the yellow on the helmet to look so smooth? I usually have a huge problem with it.
The answer is simple: 2-3 layers of diluited VMC Medium Flesh over black primer (highlighted adding VMC Pale Sand). The coverage is really awesome, 100% better than Citadel yellow paint.

Wow, how did you get the highlighting on the armour so smooth? Something im having a problem with right now, and its the colour red too.

I mostly use VMC colors (expecially for red) which helps a lot since they have an excellent coverage and I need less layers to achieve the desired effect.

Moreover I use very diluited layers (adding flow improver and sometimes a drop of PVA glue to the paint in order to have the right paint consistency), and let the paint dry throughly before painting the next layer.

Over large areas once I paint a layer I let it dry throughly and blend it using the same paint (but very diluited, until is semi-transparent) and a soft brush.

Hope this helps!

Nice work men, congratulations. The helmet on yellow looks amazing, and the red tone you achieved its pro paint.
