ok so i just started this but i am not pleased with the results already. This is snow camo imo and not urban
Undertone is:
1 to 1 ratio of Shadow Grey and Space Wolves Grey (i cut out model tape into the patterns u see and put them over this undertone)
MAIN:
Pure Space Wolves Grey (after words i pulled off the tape after my main color went down)
to me, this is way too bright for Urban Camo and frankly i dont think enough camo stripes.... so im going to do multi color square camo (like digital only not so complex, larger squares and darker colors)
i would like input on the model tho, likes dislikes ,etc :)

I think it looks good as a camo scheme, but as you say, I do feel it is more Ice camo, than Urban camo. I'm sure it wouldn't take too much to change that though!

this only took me like an hour to accomplish, the new scheme is a little more complicated so im predicting along the lines of 2-3 but all im going to do is lay down the tape over this and redo a few layers so it will be easy:) and yes ice..... *cries* lol thanx for comment

I agree that it's too much SW grey to be "urban" camo, but it looks really, really good. I'd suggest some darker "stripes" done in, say, black, but also some brighter ones done in, say, skull white. That would fill in the "gaps" nicely, and make it a little less monochrome.

I think the main issue with the model is that it is very bright for urban camo. You could try to paint in some more of the details. The big vents on those engine pods on the side could be painted in metal paint. They would need to be undercoated with black first which would help to darken it. You could also single out other details. The small gaps betwen the armour plates could also do with a little colour, watered down black in there would shade them well and it would be quick.

what you see is literally 20 minutes after spray painting it. i did not do the vents or any of the details. i wasn't going to just leave it like this lol!!! i just wanted to post it to see if people thought what i thought about it. i dont do detail till the base coat and all the major pieces are done, then i do the little things
