Had necrons for years now and finally gonna get round to painting / using them.

Had the clear red rods for yonkies and doing a silver body, ceramic white with red and black bits.

Wondering what best for base priming as i'm going to be working in silver. Grey or black primer?

Id say just go with black and then work your way up through the metallics, to a mythril silver highlight.

Well I'd be black inking it, so thinking grey would be better, less having to build it up.

Ok had a nose at the GW tutorial and it was rubbish. Way too light and silver, so I was thinking.

Grey primer base coat, with 2 metals 1 normal 1 highlight. Finish up with a black inking, to get that nuk and cranny blackened up.

I want a more dark metal look, so my question is.

Assuming I go with what I said, which would be the best 2 metal colours to achieve it? and would it work?
