I went to my local hobby shop (been going there for my entire life <-- not exaggerated) and found out that they are closing up at the end of the month. no more going into the store and chatting with people, no more looking aound at all of the boxes, no more awesomeness. there were two whole tables filled with way OOP stuff, to make a bit of money to help get the owner back in school to be a paramedic. among the stuff I got were

17 rouge trader marines, two missiles, one flamer
6 2nd edition blood angel death company marines
6 rouge trader orks
1 ?ed. ork storm boy
1 bertand the brigand and accomplices blister

It saddens me that the place is closing up. i'ts been ingrained in my saturdays since, forever.

Sadly, gaming stores often have a short life span. It's depressing.

My local gaming store shuts down about twice a year... and then opens up again someplace else! It's nomadic!
