I'm looking to start a new WH army in the next year. I understand BoC are being redone and the army book should be out in fall '09 and I'm ok with that. Right now I play Dwarves and I'm looking for an army that is as different as possible. I'd like to take an army that has an above average movement and needs to be manuevered correctly to win. Would Beastmen fit what I'm looking for? What are the pros/cons/playstyle of a Beastmen army? I'm also interested in an army that could be played more than one way. Thanks for the input.

Hi irondog. BoC is, in my opinions, one of the most fun Fantasy armies out there. But as it stands right now our army book got pretty butchered by the release of 7th edition, the Faq, and the DoC army. So I would hold off until the new army book comes out. I'd love to talk to you about pros and cons, but from the impression I get over at Warseer the army may have a very different feel after the new release. But I would imagine that BoC would still all be about fast-moving, medium powerful units that need to be used in combination for full effect. BoC will always be the thinking man's chaos.
