I've had two other's tell me they have this problem. I can't seem to connect onto the IRC.us.gamesurge server due to it being 'unable to resolve'.
Well what other server can be used, as this is starting to f***ing ***** me off.
Cheers.
Please connecto to: irc.undernet.org

Is that literally what you used? Cos it's IRC.us.GameSurge.net . You may also have to check which port you're using.

Nope I use what you said, i was just to lazy to add the extra .net not that I thought it mattered. As for having an invalid port, that should really only interfere with connecting to the server, not to resolve the server. I connect fine to any other server except this one.

It's nothing to do with Librarium Online. The server that the java chat connects to was probably down. You should really connect using irc.gamesurge.net as that will pick a random server and connect you. The java chat is probably set to connect to a specific server, or you're connecting to a specific server. irc.gamesurge.net will connect to a random server.
Edit: "As for having an invalid port, that should really only interfere with connecting to the server, not to resolve the server." When you receive the message that it cannot resolve, then that means that it cannot find the server, since it's either down, or has changed it's name.

To chat you can use mIRC or some other application. Read more here:
http://portal.librarium-online.com/content/view/109/28/
The server to use is undernet.org. There are a lot of undernet servers and the chat client you use will most likely have a large list of them to choose from.
You can also use our javachat, located here:
http://chat.librarium-online.com
Be sure to grant permission to the pop up message that appears

I still receive the message that it is unable to resolve server even with undernet.org.

Do you use the javachat or mIRC ?
If you are using mIRC please try and choose one of the other undernet servers listed..
