I have this problem for about two weeks. The option does not mark all prev posts as read permamently, as I unhappily discover after returning to the board a day later.

Just a complaint.

hmm, seems to work for me.. Does your browser accept cookies ?

If you mean by that that the posts still appear on the right hand side of the forum description etc, then that always happens. It just changes the little Invision icon on the left of the forum description/name etc.

Joke is that when I enter a sub-forum, most posts are marked as unread, even though they are a week old and I have used the "Mark all as read" option.

Maybe it has something to the fact that I'm not always using same PC?

Okay. I don't think it has something to do with the fact that you're sometimes using different computers, since I don't think this is anything to do with cookies.

The next time this problem occurs, check that you are logged in.

I am logged in at all these PC's, checking "remember me" option. That's absolutely sure.

By choosing the remember me option you dont need to login again, but it does not remeber wich posts you have read or not. Thats a cookie thing, only stored on the computer you are using
