Anvil of Doom question

Was having a battle last night and deployed my anvil in the middle of a wood in my deplovment zone.

A nearby onlooker was wondering if this was allowed but my opponent was happy to let it go.

Was just wanthing to check if there was any foul play here.

If its in your deployment zone you can put it in whatever piece of terrain you want. I don't see why you couldn't. Especially since none of the runes require line of sight to use them.

Deploying it in a wood is only better :act-up: You don't need Line of sight, so let's put him somewhere safe where he can't be targeted and is harder to get to. Flyers can't land in a forest so will have to walk through it, units also, with reduced speed.
