10 Battle Sisters (139)

The Celestians/Canoness squad along with the Seraphim and the Sisters in the Rhino charge forward to take objectives/engage in combat. The Retributors and the 134pt squad of Sisters stay at the rear, using their long(well, medium) range weapons to take out combat specialists. The 139pt squad of sisters can fulfill either role, charge forward or stay back in support. Any feedback much appreciated.

I do not really understand the use of a storm bolter in a sister army; nor a VSS losing a bolter in favor of a pistol, if you want them to excel in close combat, why not give her an eviscerator as well? Two eviscerators at str 8 can destroy some heavy infantry or tanks with relative ease.

10 Battle Sisters (134)
-Veteran Superior w bolter
-2 Storm bolters
Same storm bolter comment;

10 Battle Sisters (19O)
-Veteran Superior w bolt pistol and ccw
-Flamer
-Meltagun
-Rhino
+1 attack at str 3 will not make any difference for a sister squad; Why not upgrade flamer to a heavy flamer?

10 Battle Sisters (139)
-Veteran Superior w bolt pistol and ccw
-Storm Bolter
-Meltagun
More storm bolters!

5 Seraphim (134)
-Veteran Superior
-2 with Hand flamers
I would give VSS some goodies, maybe a Brazier of Holy Fire?

5 Retributors (139)
-Veteran Superior w bolter
-3 Heavy bolters
-1 Multi-melta
Having only 5 bodies is very limiting to wound allocation. Why not lose the multi-melta and buff more sisters in the squad. 3 heavy bolters is good enough to take out hordes at 1000 points.

Having only two tanks and virtually no anti-armour early on in the game is very limiting.
You would struggle this way against a shooting line armies or just plainly high toughness models. Maybe an exorcist would be a good help in here.
Two tanks would be dead in a heartbeat leaving the rest of your army to footslog to the objectives with no cover.
Multi-melta is fairly limiting due to it's effective range of only 24. No unit would run towards the Retributor squad unless they are really desparate to take out that multi melta, heavy bolters are far more useful.
Overall, in my opinion list is not well-balanced.

Hope this helped a little.
Cheers

After much fiddling and your comment(thank you so much, appreciated beyond belief). The list has changed, less storm bolters(they're still there but less so). Much more of a varied army in my opinion.

Inquisitor Lord (and retinue) = 157points
-Bolter/stake-crossbow
-Power weapon
-Psycannon bolts
-Scourging(psychic power)
Retinue
-Sage
-Chirurgen
-Crusader
-2 Vet. Guardsmen

10 Sisters = 155
-Vet. Superior
-S. Bolter
-Flamer
-Imagifer

10 Sisters = 135
-Vet. Superior
-S. Bolter
-Flamer

10 Repentia = 210

5 Retributors = 139
-Vet. Superior
-3 H. Bolters
-1 Multi-melta

Exorcist = 135

Immolator = 65

Immolator's with Inquisitor and retinue. Basically repentia run forward, retributors and exorcist stay back as fire support. Everything else moves forward steadly to make use of flamers and combat etc.

Cheers!

I quite like the Inquisitor load-out; for what it costs the Stake-Crossbow is a decent weapon, although I'd probably Scourging and the Crusader. Facing this down in assault, even with the Crusader, would hardly be a worrying prospect, and since your Immolator isn't an Assault Vehicle you can't take full advantage of the casualties it's HF will inflict; you'd be far better taking advantage of the Veteran's BS4 with Grenade Launchers or meltaguns than trying to wedge CC capability into a squad that just doesn't have it.

10 Sisters = 155
-Vet. Superior
-S. Bolter
-Flamer
-Imagifer

10 Sisters = 135
-Vet. Superior
-S. Bolter

No Rhinos? :-s Generally speaking if you're not taking Rhinos, and have so few Faith Points, squads of 14+ Sisters are the way to go.

10 Repentia = 210

Repentia without Rhinos isn't the greatest thing in the world. Holy Rage is all well and good but you need roving vehicles to shield the Repentia and prevent them taking too many casualties before they can get in close. Also, don't forget that Sisters' Eviscerators are only S6.

5 Retributors = 139
-Vet. Superior
-3 H. Bolters
-1 Multi-melta

You could put another Exorcist in the list for 4 points less, which is probably what I'd do.

It looks like a list that'd be fun to play, but I'm not sure it'd be very competetive. Two footslogging squads of 10 Sisters with Rapid Fire and template weapons, 3 Faith Points (6 with Martyrdoms), D6 attacks S8 attacks and a single multimelta, it's not very focused and it doesn't take advantage of the Sisters' strengths, or those of the Inquisitor for that matter.
