For the tactics i would try to engage in close combat as quick as i can. Have the guants and termaguants engage in close combat and provide any needed heavy support with the carnifex and zoanthropes. The warriors and tyrant guard will make there way to the enemy and provide fire support or engage in close combat.

The orks bands are too numerous for the tyranids to be able to kill them from shooting, and none of the tyranid units can withstand the fire of 30 shootas and 3 rokkits + all the CC attacks.This coupled with the orks only having 7 hard to get KPs,compared to the nids 10, makes me vote for angry orks

Shoota boyz are just to efficient and resilient. The Nids are both outnumber AND outclassed. Therefore victory to the Orks.

Have to agree with the consensus so far. The Ork units are just too large, where as the returning fire will decimate the Tyranid units.

I actually see the nid's winning this. They have a lot of firepower as well.

It will be a very good battle but i am going to give the win to the nids the warp blast and warp field will help the tryanids in this battle along with the firepower to back it up.

The nids have two units of scuttling genes and some leaping nids, couple this with them seizing the initative I can see a unit of Orks dying or multiple units not firing in their turn.

Im going for the Nids.

I'm also going Nids. There are a decent number of buggies in there, which can return fire just as well, and the decent number of big things and 'stealers should give them a good run for their money, plus there's what was said above.
