Favourite empire moment

Hey everyone I saw this on another armies forum and thought it was a brilliant idea and an enjoyable read. Basically you can post your favourite(s) empire battle moment. (thats not gramatically correct but you get the gist). Feel free to post as many moments as you like but try to make them good moments.:dance:

I guess i'll get this started. So i was playing against dwarves, trun one i shot my mortar max range at a group of his thunderers. It hit caused 4 wounds causeing panic. They paniced he rolled double 6s and they ran off the board, taking two units of warriors.

[Sliver]

Warrior priest with AoMI in a challange with a Vamp Lord for 7 rounds. The priest did in the end die, but he was a force of sigmar to the end.

Causing a treeman to run away from my 20 greatswords, that was great.

And every time it's my hellvolley's turn to shoot: the look of fear on my opponents face is truly priceless! :skeleton:

I used to play Empire but i painted the models poorly so I wanted to start a different army ;)
but anyway there was an objective mission. Orcs were invading some random city and the Empire had to defend all the buildings. So there was some high level shaman on a boar infront of a building so i shot at him with the cannon and killed him but didn't hit the building.

As for seeing the best moment in an Empire game was when This guy shot his Great cannon at his opponent. he tried to hit his bretonian knights, it soared over and bounced into his trebuchet. The 18-19 year old Bretonian player started whining and said "You did that on purpose, I quit" I just thought that was funny for someone to say in a warhammer game.

After a eternity of loss after loss vs the Dark Elves, I took an Empire Army against the Dark elves....

AND WON!!!!

The winning moments came when on round 1, my hell blaster took out the scouts he had in a hill while a hell blaster on the opposite side of the map took out his Harpies.

It just seemed like everything went my way, in 5th edition rules, I drew total power twice and Drain Maigc once, and everytime I maximized out the spells I used.

Key moments had to be my White Wolf Knights getting the charge vs the ColdOne Knights, and his Witch elfs being wiped out by my hell blasters.

My best moment was when I stupidly took 10 Outriders as a single special choice. It's not that THAT was the best moment, but rather, the result of having 10 outriders in one regiment.
On the game's 2nd turn I had managed to get behind the enemy, and begin to marchblock him. The first time I stopped to shoot, you should've seen his face;
"wait- you get HOW MANY shots?!"
40 shots pounded into the back of his general's regiment, sheering through 75% of his unit and causing it to panic and fleet. Right into my cavalry.

To make it worse, things were no better when he hit my lines. A cannon, helblaster, 2 mortars, roughly 50 handguns, and a regiment of Ogre Leadbelchers meant that his rate of attrition getting across the field was staggering. When he reached me, he met waves of free company and 30 man units of spears.

hmmm best empire moment for me was....seeing his unit of greatswords cut themselfs apart...because my sorcerer thought it would look funny (love you too zema)

ow yeah and running over his entire 1k army with 4warriors and 4 knights in 2 turns....

Yeah, cause i forgot the Hatred on my swordsmen and the No Panix rule for fleeing detachements. :P

And, might i add, you are forgetting those chaos knights had to take a panic test which they failed! hehehehehe

Favourite Moment - My lone BSB with a Rod of Command being charged by a 12 man unit of Grail Knights and stopping them cold. Challenged - the Bret Hero failed to kill him, and the Rod passed the break test. Classy!
