Hi all, I wanted to try good ol' Skarbrand in a list. So I figured Fiends and deamonettes could really use his boost, and along with some support units (and limitations from what I own), I came up with this:

Looks good. I would redesign the chariots to MoT, Legion and bolt for 110 points each. Drop a flamer if you need a few points as units of flamers above 4 strong cannot fire all their templates on the turn they arrive. You are also short of troops for a list of this size and your troops are not exactly ressilliant. Swap some fiends for more bloodletters.

quick update...played a modified list against a buddy with a worst case scenario build of IG, meaning he included double mystics as well as a tooled out deamonhunter grandmaster + retinue and master of fleet to mess with my reserve rolls.

Neither of us knew each other lists prior to the game...other than the fact that I was playing demons, and he was going to try to mess me up good.

My modifications were:

drop 2 heralds
drop flamers to a 4 man unit
drop bloodlettera

add 2x 5-man squads of plaguebeares (objective grab)
add Bloodthirster with strength and blessing

My choice of deployment included both greater demons, both fiend units and both soul grinders. (which i got to come in).

I never saw the flamers or a squad each of deamonettes and plaguebearers come in. The game ended up being kill points and all he had left at the end of turn 3 was a chimera.

The game was called then, and I'll never doubt the power of skarbrand...24" re-roll aura is fantastic...even if that GM and retinue get to use it as well.
