I don't know whether this belongs in the 'tactica' section of the forums, any mod can feel free to move it. I put it here because this is where most of the 'math hammer' guides are, and this belongs with them.

This table describes the probabilities of rolling any given sum on 2d6

A couple of observations which you probably already knew,
7's happen most often.
The distribution of probabilities above and below 7 are symmetrical, 2's happen just as often as 12's, 3's just as often as 11's, et cetera.

Doubles happen 1/6 of the time, the same probability as 7's, .1666

None of this is rocket science, just a reference some may want to have handy.

A slight extension of this data is applying it to our leadership rolls. Statistically, you will pass each Ld test the corresponding percent of the time on average.

Ld 5 ––> 27.7%
Ld 6 ––> 41.6%
Ld 7 ––> 58.3%
Ld 8 ––> 72.2%
Ld 9 ––> 83.3%
Ld 10 –> 91.6%
