Hello. This is my first Chaos Daemons army list so try not to crucify it to bad. Here it is:

HQ:
Ku'Gath
Skulltaker w/ Chariot
Herald of Khorne w/ Chariot, iron hide, and fury of khorne
Elite:
Bloodcrushers of Khorne x 3
Beasts of Nurgle x 3
Troop:
Bloodletters of Khorne x 15 w/ chaos icon
Bloodletters of Khorne x 10 w/ chaos icon
Plaguebearers of Nurgle x 10
Heavy:
Soul Grinder w/ Phlegm
Daemon Prince w/ Iron Hide, MoT, Soul Devourer, Unholy Might, Boon of Mutation

My groups are:

Group 1:
Ku'Gath, Beasts of Nurgle, Plaguebearers, and 10 bloodletters.
Group 2:
Skulltaker, Herald of Khorne, Bloodcrushers, 15 bloodletters, daemon prince, soul grinder.

My strategy is, depending my the group that gets picked, I either hold out and survive turn one with group one or make a daring assault with group 2. My daemon prince has MoT so he lives longer and so that i can get up in someones face and Boon a really important piece like an HQ or something deadly to my army. That's that comments are appreciated.

HQ: Kugath is very expensive but rather fun. A standard GUO with flies and maybe breath of chaos makes a good cheaper alternative. The skulltaker or 4 bloodcrushers for the same points? I prefer extra blood crushers. Same with the HoK really.

Elites: Crushers are great. If you get a larger unit considder the icon in here as their toughness and armour help it survive. Beasts are medium to poor in my opinion but why not.

Troops: Move an icon into the plague bearers as most people will shoot blood letters first.

Heavy: Single soul grinders tend to attract all the enemy antitank firepower and die quickly. The prince can get away without hide due to the 4+ invulnerable. Soul devowerer is poor on a prince who gets power weapon attacks for free anyway.

Madcat is right on all counts.

Korgath is a lot of fun, but I'd add a 3rd heavy choice and just use a cheaper greater daemon instead. Korgath is for larger lists. Still, if you like him, then use him.

Skulltaker makes no sense now that the rules for rending changed. A herald of Khorne is better, but in either case, I'd use more bloodcrushers.

I wouldn't use beasts of nurgle. Fiends of Slaanesh are a LOT better.

I'd even out the bloodletters, so there's 12-13 in each.

I don't like mixing soul grinders and daemon princes, as single soul grinders don't last long if it's the only armor on the board. I'd either use 3 soulgrinders or 3 daemon princes, your choice. Both are good, but mixing is bad.

Soul Devourer isn't worth it on a daemon prince, boon of mutation is too random, and ironhide isn't good on a DP of Tzeentch, since they already have a 4+ invulnerable save. I'd just give the prince the Mark of Tzeentch, bolt, and wings. If you want to trip him out, then breath or daemonic gaze would be nice too. For a cheap prince, you could even leave off the wings, as a prince of Tzeentch w/bolt is only 140 points. That's a bargain.

Good luck!

Hmm I agree with the Ku'Gath thing. A GUO is a better option. Skulltaker I'm going to leave in because he is a beast and I like him :D. I added another bloodcrusher to ride with skulltaker. I'm going to leave the beasts of nurgle because I don't want my GUO getting shot down even though it is rather hard to kill my friends tend to over react and shoot at what looks the scariest and biggest. I moved the mark to the plaguebearers. I wan't to take only soul grinders or only Daemon princes but if i don't take a soul grinder i won't be able to touch tanks and i don't really wanna take just soul grinders. so maybe 2 DP and a soul grinder because regardless of whether he gets attention i get to shoot with him before my enemy(provided I don't deep strike and kill the soul grinder XD) as even if i don't go first my pieces aren't even on the board :D I'm trying to keep it to two gods but might have to throw in some Tzeentch for anti tankness. Mainly because of the daemonic rivalry I like being able to through be dudes into big units so that they kinda have a meat shield and give him more survivability. I don't really want a Khorne DP but I can alway just play around with the points if i want. In all I thank you 2 for broadening my view of playing Chaos Daemons.
