So I was at my local GWS, and I was about to start a game against a space marine bike army when a friendly cron player came up to me, and gave me a 2nd lith, and a outsider to use. I fit it into my list and demolished him. In the first 3 turns my only casualty was a Immortal, while I killed... Every. Last. Bike. He then fought my full army with snipers, 2 vindicators, and a rhino/razorback (not sure which). This was my list next to my hypothetical "Ard Boyz" list

HQ
Deciever - 300 / Deciever - 300
Lord w/ Warscythe, Rezorb, and VoD - 210 / Destroyer Lord w/ warscythe, Rezorb, Phylactery - 195

Troops
10 Warriors - 180 / 10 Warriors - 180
10 Warriors - 180 / 10 Warriors - 180

10 Immortals - 280 / 10 Pariahs - 360

Fast Attack
3 Destroyers - 150 / 5 Destroyers - 250
3 Destroyers - 150 / 5 Destroyers - 250
6 Scarab Swarms - 72 / 6 Scarab Swarms - 72

Heavy Support
1 Monolith - 235 / 1 Monolith -235
1 Monolith - 235 / 1 Monolith - 235
EMPTY / 1 Monolith - 235

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Moved to army list sub-forum.

And the Outsider is another C'Tan. It's rumored to be living inside the giant spherical object referenced on the last page of the codex, which is theorized by most fluff gurus to be a Dyson Sphere.

Of course, this is all fluff, and I know of no playable rules for the Outsider, unless there's something in the Apocalypse book I haven't seen.

Are you sure you didn't mean the Deceiver or the Nightbringer?

You need more warriors. At least twice as any as you've got in there now. Mass warriors are a big key to keeping your army in the game, especially in competitive play where the opponent will ignore the rest of your forces and hit your troops to phase you out. Besides this you need them to take objectives.

Two Monolith and a C'tan are acceptable in 2.5k, though I'd still pull back from using all that in 2k. Also look into streamlining the lord. Necron Lords are decent for actual fighting in lower points games, but at this stage opponents will be fielding some really nasty units that can just tear them apart, look into using the lord for supporting your warriors.

Parriahs v.s. Immortals can be a toss up, however in this situation as you're already throwing 1/3 of your army into "super units," I'd take the Immortals instead, again to push phase out, also to just give you that nice durable unit.

6 scarab swarms is going to be nigh useless at this point level, I can hardly keep them alive in 1.5k with 6 bases, I can't see them doing much.

It's best not to put a Warscythe on a Veil Lord since they can't shoot with it, and their gun is SO worth having against 95% of opponents.

Oh wow I AM embarrassed. I was having a conversation with a friend about the Outsider. I meant the Deceiver.
