Yeah, this is a bit odd, but it's what I have decided upon after lots of testing:

HQ
Deceiver
Lord with Orb

Troops
2x10 Warriors

Elite
8 Immortals

HS
2xMonolith

I can't imagine NOT playing the Deceiver. He's won more games than the whole rest of my army put together. I tried out destroyers and heavies instead of the second 'lith, but they just didn't cut it for me. I needed redundancy, meaning another 'lith. Destroyers are awesome, mind you, BUT only if you can field enough of them. They die too easily.
The Immortals work like extra warriors, but they shoot a lot better and are cheaper than warriors. 8 Immortals shoot better than 16 warriors, and cost less. The lord with orb is a must (you should see the number of High-S pies in my meta), and having two liths means I can teleport for the extra WBB roll and still shoot pies. And I've decimated non-MEQ armies before thanks to the liths and Immortals spitting over 30 S5 AP4 shots per turn.

I'm in the process of buyin. the army (need the liths and the Deceiver, am converting the warriors to a lord and Immortals), so if somebody objects, it better be fast. As in, sooner than two weeks from now when I go back from the beach. :3

The biggest problem I can see is the very low phase out, all someone has to do to beat you is take out your warriors, you'll be gone by turn 3 if you're unlucky.
My advice to you - if you really insist on spend 910 points on 4 models, only one of which is a Necron - is to drop the immortals and max out on warriors, any other choice will leave you seriously hurting for phase out.

I don't see why you need redundancy on Monoliths, most armies can't even kill them. Only Tau has a good chance and you can still get an obscured.

You def need more Necrons, I can't think of any army that couldn't Phase this out.

I really like the Deceiver too, he's way better than the Nightbringer imo. At 1500 though I'm not sure about him. You only have 2 objective holding squads, so your Warriors will be really out in the open to hold an objective, and get blown away.

I'd drop a Monolith for more Necrons of any type and seriously look at the Deceiver. Warriors with a Lord is a pretty good anti-infantry gunline, especially with the fly away from CC upgrade (forget the name).

The people I play against carry lots of heavy firepower, so the Liths do fall from time to time. I could cut them completely, but the models are just so cool I can't find it in me to do so. Having two also helps me get my few necrons out of danger and still have firepower. I agree it's risky, but it's also fun.

For the record, have the games I hide my warriors during the first 3-4 turns, only getting them out into the open when I absolutely must. It works for me more often than not, and in fact I've only ever been phased out once or twice. Three S10 FP1 large blasts hitting dead-on does that to you.

Also for the record, I have like 40% wins. Not very good, until you learn that people have been using non-Codex units against me, let's say by accident. Things like full squads of Smurf Termies with Psy Weapons, SM Bikes with S10 AP1 guns, Eldar with S8 AP3 Heavy3 long range weapons, etc. So my win ratio shold really be higher.

As for the Deceiver, I'd much rather cut the 'liths. He's the best answer Necrons have against Termies and Land Raiders, and gives you a lot of control over the game.

I could cut the Immortals to play 3 squads of 10 warriors with some more left over. That helps with PO slightly, and I've had games where the squad of Imms dies in a single turn, so none can come back. Having more warriors instead would allow the fallen to come back up to strengthen another squad. I really like Immortals, but I am converting them from warriors, so it's no great loss. I could leave them out of my 1500 games and play them at 2000.

pretty good list im also a big fan of the deciver my self. to prevent PO just put your warriors in reserve and teleport them thew the monolith or hide them behind the 2 monoliths as you advance.as long as you keep bolth warrior units protected the list should do very well.also i find immortals to live up to there name every time i play them, if your hit by tons of str 10 large blast just spread them out the maximim 2 inch and keep them in cover they will take a long time to die that way and if you have a res orb even better though i would not take the devciver and a lord so just stick with the dedciver

The last game I played I tied against a friend who had won a week before a local 30-people 1500 point tournament. And he had adapted his list to fight mine, and was mistakenly using a bike with a S10 AP1 cannon that blew up both monoliths on turns 2 and 3. He was very surprised at how I played, because I hid my infantry in cover, instead of the classic "shoot while advancing" tactic you'd expect from a Necron. The Immortals dies on turn 3, from a Vindicator blast that hit head-on, killing everything. Luckily I had placed my Lord in a Warrior unit. :)
