1000 point necron army vs chaos nurgle

Hey all,

I used this army list to totally obliterate a chaos player at our shop.

HQ

Necron lord + Res orb

Troops

10 warriors
10 warriors

fast attack

3 destroyers
3 destroyers

7 scarab swarm

heavy support

2 tomb spiders

------------------------------------------

he had

Lord with wings and mark of khorne ( did 2 wounds on himself using that :D )
5 raptors as his retinue

2 x 7 nurgle chaos marines with each 2 plasma guns

1x 5 man posessed marines with plasma guns

1x vindicator ( never got the chance to fire :P loving gauss )



the best part was that my scarabs destroyed his posessed marines and his lord + retinue. 2 tomb spiders charge in with each 2 swarms to attack and hold the marines plus tank at bay. destroyers just try to kill as many marines as possible.

Sounds like a fun list, glad it went well for you! Solid balance of shooting and assault with the scarabs, destroyers and spyders.

I think I'm gonna borrow that list to try out this weekend, i'll get back to you on how it works for me.
