Two years after i bought him, i've finally built and painted my nightbringer.

So i'm trying to make some kind of list with him in it, for 1000 or 1500 points. But it's quite hard...

I've got 44 warriors, 4 destroyers, 4 wraiths, 3 heavy destroyers, 4 Destroyers, a Tomb spyder, a Monolith, a Necron orblord, A necron destroyer lord with orb and THE nightbringer.

What do you think?

Definitly aim for a 1500 game is what jumps to mind first.
After that (and the omni-present 30 warriors) figure out how you want the list to play, maybe a CC-heavy so that Nightbringer isn't all lonely up front? Not quite sure, I don't have much experiance with C'tan in general, much less NB

looking at your list of models, my first knee-jerk list (with no math done, so it might add up to 2000 or something :P) would be.

2x2 wraiths
'lith
tombspyder
Wraithlord or orblord if you have points left over

I just took 20 seconds to pull it out of my _____, so feel free to ignore me completely, most people do

Well, the list that took me 20 seconds to pull out of my ____ was 30 warriors and a nightbringer. Then i had a hundred damned points left...

Which is why you shouldn't rum NB in a 1000 point game... but if you do 20 warriors should be enough

Yes, and then exactly 10 damn immortals would round of the list like remoulade sauce on a roasted sandwich witch cheese and roastbeef...

I'll just keep the 3X10 warriors and nightbringer, and then i'll spam scarabs for the rest of it.

So, after some working on it, the list looks like this:

Core troops+nightbringer 720 pts

Either i put another squad of warriors and 8 scarabs into the game.

OR, i put a monolith and 2 more warriors into the pot.

What should i try first?

I'd say try a 1500 point game first, but thats just me.

If you really really insist on a 1000 point list with NB, then I'd try the warrior and scarab one. Less likely "The Smart Opponent" (that 1000000000/0/0 bastard) will be able to phase you out

(The monolith way has about 60% of your points in 2 non-necron models)

it would be fun to have a cat mouse game going with the warriors and their guys chasing them around to get you to phase out while you go to town with the night bringer and monolith
