750pts List help

[V3xx]

I'm attending a campaign game this Saturday at my local GW, I've got to come up with a 750pts list thats not allowed to contain vehicles, the minimum we can take it one troop choice.

Here's what I've come up with.

Necron Lord, w/ warscythe, res orb, destroyer body, GoF - 195
Necron Lord, w/ res orb, GoF, Lightning Field - 180
Wraiths x3 - 123
Necron Warriors x14 - 252

I was thinking of sticking the first Lord with the Wraith squad for CC so my Wraiths will always benefit from WBB. Would appreciate feedback, and ways it could be imroved in any way.

Damn i had a fun time making these lists up! I could keep going forever...

It's like i can have exactly everything and still feel like "that was a pretty nice list"

I don't really feel that i need the orb in lower point games than 1000 points, but i've got no experience of playing 750 pts...

id say go for list #4, and heres why

1. three units of ten will go around murding everything and if they are out of WWB distance tomb spyder!

2. with orb on lord making WWb rolls even better and phylactery making him even harder to.

3. tomb spyder are animal! you should deploy him in the center of your army better for WWB.

(BTW if you do chose this list are you going to put orblord in a unit of necrons?)

14 Warriors are not enough, in my opinion. Two lords is too much at 750. Visseking came up with some really good lists.

C'Tan
An awful lot of players are going to really, really struggle taking down a C'Tan in 750pt. Unless you're playing against 'Guard, they're simply not going to have enough heavy weaponry to cause wounds on it. It would be dirty and people may get the sudden urge to kick you in the shins, but it would be brutally effective.

List #4, 30 Warriors, TS and Orblord is probably the best all-round list. Personally, I would give the Lord a Warscythe instead, simply because this allows him to smack down any Terminators, Daemons, Dreadnoughts, etc.

thanks for the feedback, i dont actually have any TS' though :( - i was just thinking of trying to create a fast 'strong' CC list
