Tournament (500points per Player)

Hi Guys Ive got a tournament coming up in two weeks and I have got to get a list in soon so i thought i would post my idea of a good list and see what every one else thought of it and could post helpful hints to improve it effectiveness

Archon, Shadow Field, Punisher, Tormentor Helm, Reaver Jetbike, Combat Drugs
Total-170

10x Warriors, 2xSplinter Cannons, 2xBlasters
Total-110

10x Warriors, 2x Darklances
Total-100

Ravager, 3xDisintegrators
Total- 120

The plan is to take the lord and Ravager up the wings to neutralize enemy infantry and heavy weapons while the Sniper squad is to take out transports and tanks and the Warrior Squad is to take and hold locations. So any helpful criticism.

I would drop the jetbike. And make at least one of the warrior squads a reaider squad, this will allow you to use your drugs to better ability, and have a charge range that will allow the lone commander to get anywhere on the table in no time!

Hellmask is a good option if he is going solo.

I agree, drop the jetbike, make the archon a dracon (or even a haemi), and make BOTH squads raider squads and put nightshields on everything. Shoot the crap out of anything that has over 36" range in the first turn and listen to your opponents cries of "cheese!" as they are reduced to impotently stumbling after you in a vain attempt to get into firing range....

Your selling even me these days gardeth, the staunch advocater of non-upgraded raiders that I am!

I think the archon is taking up way to many points. He is a strong unit but that is a lot of eggs in one basket that could be nullified but a quick torrent of fire. Remember, massed bolters can easily take out 3 terminators in a turn. And your easier to kill than 3 terminators and a lot more points.

Raiders are the way to go too!

BTW who is your group member? What are they playing?
