Iron warriors - To do list

Well, I recently (Well, I say recently, I mean about a year ago) got the idea to start a chaos space marine list. I've spent alot of time since then concocting a list, as many of you know and helped me to do. Even more recently (well, I say recently, I mean a few months ago) I started to collect the first 1500 points of my 3000 point army. And yet even more recently (well, I say rec- ... you get the message...) I decided I would pick Iron Warriors as my legion. I've got a long list of things to do, and since my other army is Necrons, I vowed to myself that I would spend alot of money on conversion to make up for what I missed out on these past 3 years with my 'crons. Here is a quick pic of what I already have:



And what I'm aiming for:
2x Daemon prince
3x Rhino borne squads
3x Vindicator

And Here is the dreaded to do list, in a rough order:
Recieve 1st shipments of conversion parts for squad Liberi -
Assemble Squad Liberi -
Buy penitent engine and tomb spider to convert 1st daemon prince -
Assemble 1st daemon prince -
Buy 2nd squad, rhino and conversion parts -
Buy 2nd Vindicator -
Prevent cat from eating Daemon Prince -
Buy 3rd squad, rhino and conversion parts -
Buy 3rd vindicator -
Buy daemon prince, penitent engine and tomb spider. Assemble 2nd daemon prince-
Play a few games and write a few battle reports -
Paint the remainder of unpainted minis -
Write the 'to do list' for the 2nd half of the 3000pts -

I will keep you updated on this mamoth task as time goes on, posting every time I make an advance. (Well, I say mamoth task, I mean a regular task of which I've bitten off more than I can chew... well, I say...

"Oh for Preturabos sake some one shut Black Hawk up!"

"Ok... Ok... I'll shut up and get on task now"

I'll make my third post when I get the conversion parts I ordered for my first squad. I should have them by the end of the week, and man do I have a treat for you planned!
I will now quickly post what I've alredy done in more detail in a new post, to prevent this one from clogging up too much.

Ok, as promised my the previous post, here is what I already have in more deatail.

All of it:


My daemon prince WIP, I bet you can all guess what the engines are for, Oh yeah and dont forget my first attempt at basing! Ugh I hate metal... It holds primer horribly and the shoulder pads keep falling off (as you can probably tell by my enraged overuse of superglue).


The only member of squad Liberi that I've started work on to date. From whats missing on the model, you should be able to guess what some of the conversion parts will be. Note the masking tape in preparation for the dreaded 1st chevron attempt/fail. Chainsaw implant, yay!


My magnetised havoc launcher that I will probably never used.


My poor 1st rhino, still recovering from a cat attack.




Thats it for now. Will post some more pictures of Liberi when the parts come. keep guessing what though =] Tip: 3 Items. 1 of which is from abroad (and no its not from america).
