A handful of friends and myself were looking to start up a campaign, and this looks like exactly wot the dok ordered (along with a stapler and a hot glue gun), would you be willing to post the rules and guidlines you're group is using for this?

Great batreps. I particularly like the tank stranded on the pillar.
The last game looked like a ton of fun.

Thanks for the comments! Ironically, none on the Da Waaagh! forum.
One of the guys at the shop drew the campaign map and ten players signed up. We each chose a starting location and then began to 'spread out' by grabbing nearby territories. Then we started attacking our neighbors...
The number of points in a game is 1000 + the turn number x 100. So the first battles were 1100 points. This was because we require painted figures (an issue that still stuns me to this day is even a problem in the hobby) and by growing the point values it allowed players to paint.
You could attack once per turn. Or, you could raid. Raiding was launching an attack with half the points, but any units you destroyed had their points value deducted from the defender's points the next time he was attacked in that territory.
There are some strategic assets - honestly I don't remember what they are, except one is a port that allows attacks on all nearby territories adjacent to the sea.
When Planet Strike came out, we changed the rules to allow it. This also let us fight anyone in the campaign and not just our neighbors.

Sounds pretty straightforward!
I thinkk that sounds perfect for what my group needs.
Me, I've only got about half my army painted right now, I just don't have the time and energy most of the time! xD

I think the best thing is nobody cares about 'winning' the campaign. I guess having the most territories means you 'win'. But the campaign is setup specifically where resources do not determine army size so one person doesn't run away with it, or someone (like me) who loses a lot gets put at a permanent disadvantage.

I'm not sure what my win/lose ratio is, but that still sounds great! Super-competitive games tend to ruin it for me.
