A Beginners Debacle.

The time has finally come. I just bought my first 20 Boyz. armed with sluggas and choppas, they'll be my first two trukk mobs. to self: PROBLEM! I now realize a hole in the plan. There be no trukks for me trukk boyz. BUT WAIT, whats that? oh, thats just a HUGE pile of vehicle bitz i just found layin' around (including some already built) that no one will (most likely) miss. I think i'll just discreetly gather all this up and take it home. So here's the deal, what are the opinions out there on the best imperial vehicle to convert a trukk from. I have Chimera's, Russ', and Rhino's. Images welcome, friendly advice too.

Hee hee, I like that introduction. You're probably best ff going with the rhino or chimera, suitably converted to open topped of course. The LR is just a bit too bulky and also isn't a transport vehicle.

know anybody with a decent set of wheels to sell, unfortunately this "borrowed" stash of bitz has no ork pieces and i like the idea of a half track vehicle. Im going with the rhino, as the chimera is one of the only vehicles still "intact", dont wanna go messin with it.
