Yes, hello to every last one of you guys (and girls).

I was just wandering around this site and have decided to set up camp here for the next few years. I am new to the whole tabletop gaming world and was recently introduced to Fantasy Warhammer by my veteran friend. As of yet, I have nothing to bring to this forum, but hopefully with your help and advise I will make a piece of art, or gain the ability to say something intellectual.....

...but for now, lets party. :watermelon:

Hi, great to have you on the site. Did your friend manage to persuade you into buying an army? If so, which army did you go for? And what army does he collect? Hope t see you around the forums soon. Æ

My mate persuaded me to buy his small Lizardmen army from him (which I haven't paid for...yet). He is currently collecting and playing with his Wood Elf army, but has a whole host of other armies for me to get my head round. I am currently trying to make an imaginary 2000pts army and will post it later for people to laugh at.

Lizardmen are good fun, they have some cool dinosaurs to play with. I'm sure we won't laugh at your army too much (at least, not to your face), we're a pretty gentle bunch here.

wood elves can be fun to play against, they're not like a normal "line up and fight" army at all, you might be best off figting them with like for like stuff like salamanders, razordons, skink skirmishers and engines of the gods. There again, I haven't used izardmen since the new book came out so I may well be wrong. :)

Also, dodge!
