They only thing i am concerned about w/ the reapers is one caualty and a morale check, I was thinking put them into one 5 man squad, maening 1 less exarch, one less tempest launcher, 1 less crack shot, one less model, and a whole lot more points, (77) and you are only loosing one model, w/ that,i might consider mayb a fortune seer for them? and same amount of KP, just makes that squad a whole lot more durable.

I'd buy a generic Serpent for the Dragons. They're plenty reliable and the Falcons offensive output is ho hum.

Consider 2 Wraithlords for instead of Reapers. They can bring some HWs to bear and are a CC threat, which you're lacking. If big guns get shot at them, your transports are making it through unscathed, good for you.

Reapers are to easy to wipe out for the points, just not worth it it above 1000 points.

im not disagreeing w/ you, just want to know wat you mean buy, are a costly unit, not worth it over 1000 points??? just to me, they contradict themselves, meanin u thought "only worth it over 1000 points? clarify please.

In 1000 and under you see less transports and less overall guns, so they can survive longer and might have some foot sloggers to snipe at. As soon as you hit 1500 there's to many guns, Outflankers, DS and transports to make them of any use.

I wouldn't use them ever myself, but in 1500+ they're unplayable from a competitive standpoint.

I'd drop Runes of warding, put your Prisms in instead of Reapers and try to find a Transport for your dragons you cant slog the best Tank-busters in the game.

If you are having Prisms who can shoot 60'' away getting shot at you must be doing something wrong.

Other than that this looks like a pretty standard mech, not too shabby.

RoW are amazing especially with new SWs out, always use them.

Fire Prisms are fine but 60" has nothing to do with it. A 48" gun will always reach out and touch it, and it's armor is meh. There's nothing you can do to stop them getting shaken around except cover, which is not usually there.

His Dragons currently go in the Falcon quite obviously but a Wave Serpent would be better.

serpent> falcon for the dragons

Despite their imobility i love the reapers. the 3 man squads works tbh better with fast shot and shooting the exarch weapon without line of sight = our artilerry unit crack shot is awesome if you play with a lot of area terrain.

i agree with the prism observation. this kind of stuff made me love again and low armour walkers. at least they can outflank and when they do it, their first round is a firestorm spectacle in side/behind enemy tanks/transporters

i'd be using crack shot for it's re rolls to wound as well,
it's hell for devastator squads,

I'd suggest taking the two prisms again. If you shove your fire dragons, seer council, and striking scorpions down their throat, those prisms will take a lot less fire.

Actually everything else takes less fire. Fore Prisms are basically just there to make Wave Serpents die less and maybe fire if you get first turn.

First of all tnx for all the answers.

of course i embarc my FD in the falcon and i take it instead of a wave serpent couse i hade 40 points left and a free HS slot.

I like fire prism they problably have one of the best heavy wepon in the game but i don't like to spend 115 points for somting that will be stunned/shaked for all the game, so i'm just tryng to find a different solution to the classic 3 fire prism.

Probably a good one can be to drop the falcon finde some points all around and put in 2 warwalker with scatterlaser.

ok this is the list with the wraitlord:

HQ

Farseer
Doom, Runes of warding;

Farseer
Guide;

ELITE

Fire Dragons
6 Dragons
Wave serpent, stone, EML.

TROOPS

Dire Avengers
10 Dire Avengers, exarch, TSC, bladestorm.
Wave serpent, stone, EML.

Dire Avengers
10 Dire Avengers, exarch, TSC, bladestorm.
Wave serpent, stone, EML.

Rangers
5 Rangers, pathfinders.

HEAVY SUPPORT

WraithLord
1 WraithLord, Lance, Scatterlaser;

WraithLord
1 WraithLord, EML, Scatterlaser;

WraithLord
1 WraithLord, EML, Scatterlaser;

1495pt

i lost the striking scorpions, the reaper and the falcon for a waveserpent (fire dragon), a guide seer that will babysitt the wraith and 3 wraithlords with lance/scatterlaser/eml.

Theese 3 guyes fire 12 shots at str 6, 1 lance shots and 2 EML... the seer will guide one of them. They are realy expensive but to kill them all the opponents will have to concentrate a lot of fire on them and they can be a great treath in CC too.

i spent 150 points in theyr weapon but i'm not sure if this is the best configuration. i would like to change an EML for another lance and a scatterlaser for a wraithsword.

comment :D

The only problem with the Guide Seer is he can be picked out pretty easily, a WL cannot hide him because of how the model looks. Either take the Wraithsight rolls or run both Seers with Doom and both with a DA unit. You can use one in a Serpent to babysit them I believe and keeping them in front of the WL gives them valuable cover.

I'd also run a Wraithsword over a second gun personally. Scatter Lasers and EMLs/Lances don't really go together. A Sword makes the 2 attacks do something and a basic EML +2 Flamers will punish hordes followed by a charge.
