I have a new Knights of Chaos sprue ( WFB ) that was bought for a few bits (namely helmets, shields, and CCW's)

This means that I have a bunch of really chaosy horses and mounted riders that would take about 2 seconds to give 40K weapons and make them Chaos Marines 'count as' bikers. (and would look a lot better than the normal bikers)

My problem is that I'm not sure what to do with them in-game. Bikes are a bit expensive in the current codex, and I have no idea about squad size and equipment. An expensive tank-hunting squad that daemonbombs?

They will probably be painted Khorne-y, or fairly neutral. My Nurgle list is packed full, and I have some bikers for my Emperor's Children. Tzeench could be a good idea, but I haven't really thought about it...

Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

It depends on the rest of the army.

One of my armies is a biker heavy force (15 bikes all up).

If you are not using too many chaosy options, you can run them as marines.

However, some of the combo's I use

3 Bikes - 2 meltagun

5 bikes - 2 meltagun, fist, IOCG

5 Bikes - 2 plasmagun, fist, IOCG

In my nightlords I run them in squads of 7. I recently took them as a marine force and was surprised when my 1750pt army came in at 1500pts in the marine codex.

Hmmm.... I have thought about making a spiky loyalist marine list... I will look more seriously at that.

If you are not taking oblits/daemons etc then there is no issue.

My guys are a "newly turned chapter". I could not believe how cheap everything was in the marine dex. Also, having bikers (units of 5 or more models) count as troops is gold!!!

You are not strictly limited to taking them as bikers, being khornate you could also palm them off as being juggernauts of khorne, or if you have/decide to run a renegade list you could also take them as rough riders.

Pretty much as you said though, an expensive antitank option that can daemonbomb (assuming you have an icon)

Ive got 3 bikes left over from my boxed set i got when i first started 4 years ago, never built them up, are they good to use? or do they just attract to much fire?

If you really want to see a sic point reduction, you need to check out the new wolves codex. Grey Hunters are almost identical to chaos regular troops but better... and cheaper.
